Take Control of Your
Heart Health Today

These tests can help you understand your current risk of having plaque in your coronary arteries and your future risk of experiencing a heart attack, stroke, or cardiac death.

TO ACHIEVE THIS GOAL, WE OFFER THREE PATIENT USE TESTS: HART CVE™, HART CADhs™ & HART KD™

Welcome to Prevencio. Our Mission is to Help You Take Care of Your Heart Health Proactively.

Knowing your 1-year risk of heart attack, stroke, or cardiac death can help you take proactive steps to manage your risk and improve your overall cardiovascular health. By managing your risk, you can significantly reduce your risk of experiencing a cardiovascular event and improve your overall quality of life.

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death globally and every 40 seconds someone in the US will suffer a heart attack. That's why cardiovascular disease is our #1 area of focus. There are several risk factors that increase the likelihood of developing cardiovascular disease, including:

  • Age
  • Family History
  • Smoking
  • High Blood Pressure
  • High Cholesterol
  • Diabetes
  • Obesity
  • Lack of Physical Exercise

Take care of your heart health today. Detect coronary artery disease and predict cardiovascular events with Prevencio's simple blood tests: HART CVE™, HART CADhs™, & HART KD™.
HART CVE™ –  HART CVE™ represents the future. It is the only marketed prognostic (risk) blood test that provides a short to immediate term risk (1–4 year risk) of having a heart attack, stroke, or cardiovascular death.

HART CADhs™ - HART CADhs™ represents the here and now. This diagnostic blood test detects the presence of obstructive coronary artery disease.

HART KD™ - This test uses advanced technology to assess risk for Kawasaki disease, a relatively uncommon, mostly affecting children under the age of 5 years but can occur in older children.

Frequently Asked Questions

Both HART CADhs™ and HART CVE™ are simple, non-fasting blood tests that combine multiple proteins and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to produce your personalized risk assessments.

What is being tested by the HART Tests?

HART CVE™ and HART CADhs™ received proprietary CPT PLA billing codes by the American Medical Association (AMA) in 2022. Effective January 1, 2023, the proprietary CPT PLA billing codes were included on the National Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), who establish National pricing for laboratory tests. Prevencio is currently working to broaden reimbursement with insurance providers. We also offer other affordable options. Please reach out to us at support@prevenciomed.com to learn more.

Are the HART tests covered by insurance?

No. Fasting is  not required for the HART tests.

Do I need to fast for the HART tests?

Studies have shown the accuracy (AUC) rate is 85-88%, which is higher than standard-of-care stress tests, Coronary Artery Calcium scores (CACs), genetic risk tests and clinical risk scores.

How accurate are the HART test results?

The test is a simple blood draw that can be performed at a blood draw center, physician's office, or in the comfort of your own home. Our Support Team can help arrange the best option for you.

How is the test performed?

The cost of the HART test varies depending on the test and insurance coverage. Our Support Team can help determine a cost estimate. Email us at support@prevenciomed.com for more information.
